A priest (waki) who serves the Goddess of Muro Shrine in Harima Province (Hyogo) appears and tells of a ritual performed at his shrine when all under heaven is at peace. In the ritual, he explains, traveller girls (yūjo) on a boat perform a lively dance for the Goddess. The priest summons a retainer (ai) and has him prepare for the ritual. The traveller girls (tsure) appear on their boat and sing a sailor’s song. The ladies dance a kagura, and Madame Idaike, the Goddess of Muro, appears on stage and dances with them.<br />
